Fresh Start Foods is committed to the highest standards of food safety. We employ a full-time Quality Assurance Team to ensure all food safety guidelines are followed and sanitary conditions are met. To further protect our customers, a HACCP (Hazards Analysis Critical Control Points) program has been implemented and a Hepatitis A vaccination is mandatory for employment at our company.
HACCP was developed initially for the space program under NASA's guidance in the early 1960's. Today, it is used world-wide as the foremost control program for all food industry plants and mandatory between exporting nations. Although participation is still voluntary in the fresh cut produce industry, Fresh Start Foods is ready to become the industry leader in this field. This is one more unyielding commitment that we extend to all of our customers.
